Vino Rosso this vintage consists of 57% Nero d'Avola and 43% Nebbiolo.  The wines that went into this blend were absolutely top shelf and were barrel selected with drink-ability in mind.  These wines typically had shorter macerations than their single varietal counterparts at 10 and 15 days respectively.  A core of that concentrated Nero cherry character with the savoury structured Nebbiolo bringing it back in check.  It's plummy, spicy, earthy and juicy... This North meets South blend is a ripper.
